Employment Bill: Consideration of Draft Report

The Deputy Chairperson (Mr Buchanan): You will find the draft report at page 115; the Employment Bill, as introduced, at page 166; and, at page 193, the explanatory and financial memorandum, as introduced. The Committee has completed its scrutiny of the Bill and, last week, formally considered the clauses. A draft report of the Bill, including the issues raised by the Committee and stakeholders, is in the pack for members' consideration. The purpose of today's consideration is to agree the text of the body of the report. The body of the text is on pages 115 to 165. We will proceed through the report section by section, asking if you are content with the report. We will go through it, bit by bit, using page numbers.

Page 3 of the report deals with the remit, powers and membership. Are members content with that section of the report, as drafted?

The Deputy Chairperson (Mr Buchanan): Page 5 deals with the list of abbreviations. Are members content with that, as drafted?
