Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister for an update on the progress and development work that has been carried to ensure publication of the Sexual Orientation Strategy in early 2012.

Answer:

Our officials are to meet with stakeholders, with organisations from the sector and with other departments. Draft proposals to develop the Strategy will then be made available to the OFMDFM Committee.

We are aiming for the public consultation process to take place in early 2012 with a view to publishing a Sexual Orientation Strategy later next year.
