Question:
To ask the Minister for Employment and Learning, using home addresses, to detail the number of people who have found full-time employment through the Local Employment Intermediary Service, broken down by council area.

Answer:
I have placed tables in the Assembly Library and on my department’s website at http://www.delni.gov.uk/ . The tables at Annex A detail the number of people who have availed of the Local Employment Intermediary Service (LEMIS), broken down by council area and the number of people who have found full-time employment, through the Local Employment Intermediary Service, broken down by council area, since LEMIS 2 began in April 2011.
Clients living in LEMIS designated areas are free to choose the services of any provider, except in NI Areas 1, 2 and 3 [see Annex C for details of contract provision in Northern Ireland] where individuals must avail of LEMIS from the contracted provider for those areas.
