To ask the Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment whether the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland receives any funding from the private sector.

Answer:

The Geological Survey of Northern Ireland receives no funding from the private sector other than minor income from fees arising from responding to inquiries, the licensing of digital data and the sale of publications.
