To ask the Minister of Finance and Personnel to detail the number of households in receipt of Rates Relief at the end of the financial year 2012-13.

Answer:

Only one person in a household can obtain Rate Relief. As at 31st March 2013 there were a total of 17,563 live Rate Relief awards.

The figure provided relates to claims for Rate Relief administered by Land & Property Services.
