Question:
To ask the Minister for Regional Development to detail how many bus lanes operate in Belfast, and the Greater Belfast area, from Monday to Friday, and of these, how many also operate on a Saturday.

Answer:
Bus lanes within the Greater Belfast area, which operate on 14 corridors and in the city centre, measure approximately 51 km in length.
The following bus lanes generally operate from Monday to Friday at peak times only, morning and evening:.
Albertbridge Road;
Andersonstown Road/Falls Road;
Antrim Road;
Castlereagh Road;
Crumlin Road;
Holywood Road;
Lisburn Road;
M1/Westlink - Roden Street;
Saintfield Road/Ormeau Road;
Shankill Road;
Shore Road;
Stranmillis Road;
Upper Newtownards Road; and
Woodstock Road.
Of the bus lanes listed, approximately 2.6km operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday to Saturdays within the city centre, which represents 5% of the total length of bus lanes in the greater Belfast area.
