Question:
To ask the Minister for Regional Development to detail the number of complaints received by (i) his Department; and (ii) Translink regarding buses stopping in an a cycle box.

Answer:

My Department has received no complaints about vehicles stopping in areas reserved for cyclists, however, a number of queries have been raised about the usage and enforceability of this provision.

Translink has received complaints on this issue, which relate to an Ulsterbus vehicle and two Metro vehicles.
