Question:
To ask the Minister for Employment and Learning for a breakdown of the top 25 organisations, ranked by the number of individuals each has taken on through the Steps to Work programme, in each year since its inception.

Answer:
Steps to Work (StW) is my Department’s main adult return to work programme, the aim of which is to assist people to find and sustain employment. The programme is delivered throughout Northern Ireland by a network of contracted organisations, known as Lead Contractors, over 10 contract areas. Each contracted provider is supported in delivering the programme through a network of sub-contractors.
The Department collates statistics on the programme at a contracted provider/contract management area level. Data is not gathered at a sub-contractor level. Details on the number of participants starting the programme, for each Lead Contractor, have been placed in the Assembly Library and on my Department’s website at http://www.delni.gov.uk/ .
