To ask the Minister for Communities for his assessment of whether regulatory changes to ensure housing associations can be reclassified back to private bodies will require dilution of tenant engagement standards within the regulatory framework.

Answer:

The regulatory changes required to ensure that housing associations can be classified to the private sector will focus on technical issues and will not lead to a dilution of the tenant engagement standards in the regulatory framework.
