Question:
To ask the Assembly Commission (i) whether passes were issued to facilitate the recent political negotiations in Parliament Buildings and (ii) if so (a) how many and (b) to whom.

Answer:
The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission can confirm that a number of ID passes have been issued on a short term basis to facilitate the ongoing political negotiations at Parliament Buildings.
To date, fourteen such passes have been issued to officials involved in the negotiations, and those passes will be recovered by the Commission in due course.
The Commission does not release specific details of those persons to whom passes are issued.
