Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether excision surgery is currently available to endometriosis patients.

Answer:

Covid-19 has fundamentally affected the work undertaken by Trusts for the past 18 months and will continue to do so for some time.

As such, there are currently no plans in place to specifically deal with those patients who are waiting on the gynaecology waiting list to have excision surgery relating to endometriosis, as the focus and priority remains on addressing red flags and cancers
