To ask the Minister for the Economy for his assessment of how e-commerce and logistics firms, such as Selazar, could ease some of the issues faced by online retailers selling to Northern Ireland, post-Brexit.

Answer:

Fulfilment platforms such as Selazar, provide online retailers with a range of services, such as managing stock, sales orders and returns. Such fulfilment platforms can facilitate the shipment of online orders on behalf of retailers, from warehouses closer to the end consumer. This may remove some customs administration for those retailers who use and pay for these services. However, it is commercial decision for online retailers if they wish to use fulfilment services.
