To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs how many new EU laws, which rest within the competence of his Department, have taken legal effect in Northern Ireland since 1 January 2021, pursuant to the mechanism enshrined Article 13 (4) of the Northern Ireland Protocol.

Answer:

Since 01 January 2021, there have been no new EU laws that have taken legal effect in Northern Ireland via Article 13 (4) of the Northern Ireland Protocol which rest within the devolved competence of my Department.
