Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQW 29600/17-22, when the electricity upgrade to Daisy Hill Hospital is scheduled for completion to allow the installation of an MRI suite at the hospital.

Answer:

Pursuant to AQW 29600/17-22, the Trust is currently working with the Department of Health to address a number of queries on the recently submitted Outline Business Case for the Electrical Infrastructure upgrade up DHH site. The Trust intends to resubmit the OBC to DOH by 7th October 2022. Pending formal approval of the business case, the programme of works is expected to commence within 22/23 year and conclude 2028/2029.

The DHH site will accommodate an MRI scanner when the programme of works concludes.
