To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs what directions or requirements have been placed on district councils as a result of The Plant Health and Diseases of Animals (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020.

Answer:

The Plant Health and Diseases of Animals (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 made some technical amendments to domestic primary legislation on plant and animal health to ensure it could continue to operate effectively after the EU exit transition period.

No additional directions or requirements have been placed on local councils as a result of the regulations.
