To ask the Minister for the Economy for an update on a tourism action plan.

Oral Question No 11 – AQO 363/22-27

Tourism is truly a success story of the Good Friday Agreement. I see my Department’s role as enabling the industry to continue to grow in a way that aligns with my Economic Vision. It is my intention to bring forward a Tourism Vision and Strategic Action Plan in response to my Department’s recent consultation.

At last week’s Tourism NI conference, I announced that to help take this work forward I will establish a Tourism Partnership Board made up of representatives from tourism and hospitality, Executive Departments, and local government.

It will help develop and oversee an Action Plan that will be co-designed and co-delivered with the industry.
