Question:
To ask the Minister for Regional Development to detail any road lighting schemes proposed for the Carrickfergus Borough Council area over the next four years; and the wards in which they will take place.

Answer:

My Department’s Roads Service has advised that it does not record information on proposed street lighting schemes by ward area. However, information on completed and proposed street lighting schemes for the current financial year can be found in Roads Service’s Spring and Autumn Reports to Councils. These reports can be accessed from my Department’s internet site at the following web address:

I can advise that the detailed budget for subsequent years has not yet been finalised and it is therefore not possible to provide details of future works programmes at this time.
