To ask the Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment whether her Department will consider extending the natural gas network to Whitehead.

Answer:

My Department has been considering the issues associated with extending the natural gas network to new areas of Northern Ireland, and will continue to liaise with the Utility Regulator, and the gas industry on such matters, including consideration of extending the gas network to towns such as Whitehead.
