Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development what support her Department will provide to Carrickfergus Borough Council to replace trees lost to Ash Dieback disease.

Answer:

I have asked officials to develop a policy outlining the support which may be made available to assist woodland owners with existing grant agreements to replant areas affected by Chalara ash dieback with alternative tree species, following compliance with a statutory plant health notice.
