Question:
To ask the Minister for Social Development to detail (i) any organisations funded by his Department that have expressed an interest in managing or purchasing property owned by Carrickfergus Borough Council under Community Asset Transfer; (ii) the monetary value placed on each property by those interested organisations; and (iii) whether Carrickfergus Borough Council was consulted by those organisations prior to any expressions of interest.

Answer:

The Community Asset Transfer Demonstration Programme closed to applications on October 18th 2013. This programme is being lead by Development Trusts NI, my Department’s delivery partner on Community Asset Transfer. Under the programme no organisations funded by my Department have expressed an interest in managing or purchasing property owned by Carrickfergus Borough Council.
