Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister for an update on the proposed age legislation, including timescale, which will include provision for goods, facilities and services and protect against discrimination on the grounds of age.

Answer:

Public consultation on policy proposals to extend age discrimination legislation to the provision of goods, facilities and services closed on 8 October 2015. The responses received during the consultation period are currently being analysed.

We will then consider the options available to us for bringing this legislation before the Assembly.
