To ask the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety whether his Department has funded the opening of beds in community hospitals in the Northern Health and Social Care Trust for the services of Multiple Sclerosis patients, since 1 November 2014.

Answer:

It is the Northern Health and Social Care Trust which is responsible for services in its area and their funding.

Those who require MS respite continue to have access to a range of respite options including a hospital bed if indicated.
