To ask the Minister for Social Development for an update on a strategy for the delivery of generalist advice services.

Answer:

Work on developing the new strategy ‘Advising, Supporting, Empowering – A strategy for the delivery of generalist advice services in Northern Ireland 2015 – 2020’ is at an advanced stage. Consultation with members of the public and other stakeholders has now been completed and it is anticipated that the new strategy will be launched in early summer 2015.
