To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail the consultancies used to process Social Investment Fund applications; and for a breakdown of the costs of using these consultancies.

Answer:

Initially each of the 9 Social Investment Fund Steering Groups chose a range of projects to address social deprivation and dereliction within their Zone. The Steering Groups then prioritised their projects once the Zone funding allocations were known. Consultancy services were not used to choose or prioritise the projects.
