To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail the outcome of the 2008 review of the Civic Forum, including any conclusions reached.

Answer:

The review of the Civic Forum and of arrangements for engaging with civic society was commissioned in 2007 by the then First Minister and deputy First Minister. Responses received during the consultation phase of the review did not suggest a widespread desire for a return to a structure of the size and expense of the Forum, as it had previously operated.
