Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister how many employees of Minority Ethnic Development funded projects are currently on protective notice pending the outcome of the Minority Ethnic Development fund 2015/16 application process.

Answer:

Whilst the Minority Ethnic Development Fund provides important support to the sector we would not be able to provide details as to what arrangements individuals groups have in place.

Funding allocations have now been made for the 2015/16 Minority Ethnic Development Fund and all applicants were informed in early May. Successful groups can expect funding to be backdated to the beginning of the financial year on proof of spend thus minimising any financial impact on them.
