To ask the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, pursuant to AQW 44519/11-15, to detail the process by which Priority 6 funding under the Rural Development Programme 2014-20 will be administered to local council areas.

Answer:

My Department will enter into a contract with each Local Action Group (LAG) for the delivery of their LEADER indicative funding allocation via their Local Rural Development Strategy. The Department will also enter into a service level agreement with each Council to provide each LAG with administrative and financial services.
