Question: To ask the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, pursuant to AQW 44497/11-15, how much of the funding allocated to Priority 6 of the Rural Development Fund is ring-fenced for administration and promotion; and how it will be drawn down.
Answer:
The Rural Development Programme submitted to the European Commission has detailed that up to 22% (up to a maximum of £12.4m) of project spend will be available for administration. Any administration funds not drawn down can be used to fund projects. Administration funds will be paid to Council Administration units retrospectively following the submission of a validated claim for expended funds to my Department through the Local Action Group.
