Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister what funding has been made available to implement the Disability Strategy, extended to 2017.

Answer:

We are currently considering a number of projects submitted by departments to deliver the objectives within the Disability Strategy. The proposed projects cover a range of disabilities and a range of ages from children through to older people.

There are no ring-fenced funds available to take forward these projects within the Delivering Social Change Fund budget. Departments have been asked to consider whether the proposed projects can be funded within their core business.
