To ask the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety how the revised care standards for nursing homes are being incorporated and used by the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority.

Answer:

Revised care standards for nursing homes were published on 13 April 2015 and are used by the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority as the basis of their registration and inspections of these establishments effective from the date of publication.
