To ask the Minister of Finance and Personnel to detail (i) the total cost paid to temporary work agencies to supply temporary staff across the NI Civil Service for the financial year 2014/15; (ii) the total cost disbursed as wages to temporary agency workers for 2014/15; and (iii) the total cost disbursed as fees administration and any other cost paid to temporary work agencies for 2014/15.

Answer:

The total cost paid to temporary work agencies to supply temporary staff across the NI Civil Service for the financial year 2014/15 was £9,228,998.

We do not hold information in relation to the total cost disbursed as wages to temporary agency workers for 2014/15, the total cost disbursed as fees administration and any other cost paid to temporary work agencies for 2014/15. However, if we did have this information it would be commercially sensitive and could not be released.
