Question:
To ask the Minister for Employment and Learning of his assessment of the current condition of the Northern Regional College facility at the Coleraine Campus.

Answer:

It is accepted that the Coleraine campus of the Northern Regional College is in poor condition and unsuited for the delivery of a modern further education curriculum. The building dates back to the 1930’s and requires considerable work to remain functional.

As I have previously stated in the Assembly, I see improvements in the Northern Regional College Estate as a priority. The preparation of the business case for the estate is ongoing, and a final draft is expected to be with my officials during July 2015 for consideration.
