To ask the Minister of Education to detail how the transfer of statutory functions for Outdoor Education Centres to the Education Authority will impact on the sustainability of Woodhall Outdoor Education Centre in Kilrea.

Answer:

The transfer of statutory functions for Outdoor Education Centres to the Education Authority has had no impact on the sustainability of the Woodhall Outdoor Education Centre in Kilrea.

However, as part of the implementation of Priorities for Youth, there will be a review of Residential and Outdoor Education Service provision as outlined in the 2015-16 Regional Youth Development Framework.
