Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety to detail any communication his Department has had with the Crohnscope Patient Advisory Group regarding health care provision for children with Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and their parents.

Answer:

The Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) was first contacted by the Crohnscope Group in January 2014. The Group remain in touch with the HSCB, Public Health Agency (PHA) and both the Belfast and Western Health and Social Care Trusts on an on-going basis. Officials from the HSCB, PHA and the Belfast Trust last met with the Group in August 2014 and the next meeting is scheduled to take place shortly.
