To ask the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety for his assessment of the survival rates for local women with ovarian cancer.

Answer:

The Eurocare-V study conducted on cancer patients diagnosed in 2000-2007 indicated that survival from ovarian cancer in Northern Ireland was similar to that in the other UK countries.
