Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister, pursuant to AQW 46752/11-12, to detail the intended timeframe for public consultation on the draft Gender Equality Strategy.

Answer:

As previously stated, the current Gender Equality Strategy will remain in place until the new Strategy is developed and operational.

Work is currently ongoing on the development of a new strategy and it is envisaged that a 12 week public consultation will either take place before the end of 2015 or early 2016.
