To ask the Minister of Justice whether the Fear of Crime Strategic Action Plan 2012-14 will be updated within the current Assembly mandate, to tackle crime and fear of crime amongst older people.

Answer:

The Fear of Crime Strategic Action Plan arising from the Community Safety Strategy has been updated for 2015-17 and was noted by the Justice Committee in April 2015. A copy of the updated Plan is available on the Department of Justice website by searching for Community Safety Action Plan under the Publications section.

A progress report on the Plan is prepared annually for the Justice Committee.
