Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister for an update on the Disability Awareness and Advocacy Focus Group as part of the Delivering Social Change framework.

Answer:

The Executive recently extended the Disability Strategy until 2017 to allow additional time to fully implement the Strategy’s 18 strategic priorities. One of the key priorities will be to take forward the work stream on disability awareness and advocacy to help build a greater awareness of advocacy support for people with disabilities, their families and carers.
