Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail (i) the projects submitted by Departments in order to deliver the objectives identified within the Disability Strategy 2011-2017; and (ii) how accepted projects will be funded.

Answer:

We are still considering a range of projects from departments to deliver the Executive’s Disability Strategy’s strategic priorities. The proposed projects cover a range of disabilities and age groups, from children to older people.

As there are no ring-fenced funds available to take forward these projects, departments will have to find the proposed projects from within their core business.
