Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail (i) the time scale for the publication of the Active Ageing Strategy; and (ii) what communication they have had with Age Sector groups regarding progress to date.

Answer:

Subject to Executive approval, the Active Ageing Strategy will be published as soon as possible.

We have had ongoing communication concerning the Strategy with the Ageing Strategy Advisory Group, which has representation from the Age Sector and was chaired by the former Commissioner for Older People for Northern Ireland.
