To ask the Minister for Employment and Learning to detail what communication his Department has had with major businesses, who have expressed concerns about the future lack of local linguistic skills, following the closure of the Modern Languages School at Ulster University Coleraine.

Answer:

My Department has not had any communication or received any feedback from major businesses, including international businesses, regarding a potential deficit in modern language skills due to the closure of the School of Modern Languages at Ulster University.
