Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development how much of the original funding of £4,800,000 for rural community development has been spent; and for a breakdown of this expenditure.

Answer:

The rural community development support service was subject to a competitive tender procedure with eight contracts for the period 1 April 2012 to 31 March 2015 awarded. These contracts have been extended for one additional year until 31 March 2016. The expenditure to date under this service is detailed in the table below:
