To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister what feedback they have received in relation to the proposal to extend age discrimination legislation only to people that are over sixteen years of age.

Answer:

Public consultation on policy proposals to extend age discrimination legislation to the provision of goods, facilities and services closed on 8 October 2015. The responses received during the consultation period are currently being analysed. A consultation report, which will provide an overall summary and analysis of the consultation responses, will be published in due course.
