Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail a timeframe for a public consultation on the updated Gender Equality Strategy.

Answer:

It is envisaged that a twelve week public consultation period will be run in 2016.

As previously stated, the current Gender Equality Strategy 2006 – 2016 will remain in place until the new Strategy is developed and operational.
