To ask the Minister of Finance and Personnel for a list of the non-domestic rates relief schemes and exemptions which are currently available to assist rate payers.

Answer:

The reliefs and exemptions available to assist non-domestic ratepayers are the same schemes that I outlined in my answer to another recent question from you (AQW 49401/11-16).

These include Small Business Rate Relief, Small Business Rate Relief for Small Post Offices, Empty Shops Rates Concession, Charitable Exemption, Sports and Recreation Rate Relief, Residential Homes Rate Relief, Industrial Derating, Empty Premises Relief, Hardship Relief, Exemption for Rural ATMs and District Rates Convergence.
