To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister for a timeframe for the appointment of a Commissioner for Older People for Northern Ireland.

Answer:

The appointment process for a new Commissioner for Older People commenced on 16 November, with a closing date for applications of noon on Monday 7 December 2015. Interviews are scheduled to be held on 14, 15 and 18 January and an appointment will be made as soon as possible thereafter.
