Question:
To ask the Minister of the Environment to detail the due process for making a final decision on a planning application that is being reviewed by the Planning Appeals Commission.

Answer:
In accordance with Section 29 (8) of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011, following any Planning Appeals hearing, the Commission will prepare a report for the Department. Whilst the final decision will rest with me, the Department will fully consider the Commission’s report in determining the application.
