Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety for the number of elective operations that have been (i) cancelled; and (ii) carried out in the independent sector since November 2015, in (a) Northern Ireland; and (b) the North West Independent Hospital, Ballykelly.

Answer:

The Department does not routinely collect information on cancelled operations or operations carried out for any provider in the Independent Sector. These are monitored by providers themselves and are subject to contract monitoring directly with Trusts, for those patients who have been transferred by a Trust.
