Question:
To ask the Minister of Education whether the Pathways Fund will provide services for children up to three years of age from April 2016.

Answer:

The Pathway Fund which will replace the Early Years Fund from 1 April 2016, will be open to voluntary and community providers or facilitators of registered Early Years education and learning provision (i.e. for children aged 0-4 years) such as;

Registered Sessional Daycare settings (including Out of Schools, Summer Schemes, Playgroups, crèches);

Registered Full Daycare settings (Day Nurseries);

Registered Childminders.
