To ask the Minister for Regional Development what assurances she can give that means testing for concessionary fares, including the Senior Citizen Smart Pass, will not be introduced; and that concessionary fares will be protected as a priority.

Answer:

I have no plans to introduce means testing for concessionary fares and can assure you that the Executive and I are committed to supporting, through the concessionary fares scheme, the elderly and other vulnerable groups within society.
